American Inkworks v Painful Pleasures

from what i've seen over the past week, painful pleasured will definitely be where i go to get my next piercing or first tat, got two piercings by papa mike, really just a straight up feller, dude rubbed some alcohol and then pierced...haha, in and out in 5-10 minutes
buddy got a piercing at painful pleasures, took about 20-25 minutes, regina really made sure everything was fine..

what im concerned about are papa mikes tattoos, he's about like a coeburn baseball team, good as some times, other times not, i've seen a lot of his work that was unbelievable, and some simple tattoos that look like they were done with a stencil and markers..

i may just head over to that tattoo place over in abingdon/lebanon, friend got a tattoo there and it was amazing

I concur. I suggest going to Rob Jarrett at Choppers Inc. in Kingsport (up from the mall across from McDonalds) or to Skinsations and let Tom Tommen do it. Tom's been in nationally published magazines and is great. Both are good friends of mine and worth the drive over there.

Regina has done all my tats, and I would recommend her to anyone. I got all my mine for hardly anything. Her and my mom are friends. I ave nothing against American Inkworks, Im just real comfortable with Regina.

To each his own I suppose. I am well satisfied with the 6 tats that Papa Mike has done on me, and have been complimented several times on them.

i went to that place in bristol. i really liked the work they did, but i felt i got overcharged because the guy did my ink was an athiest.

I have been to several different places. I got two done by Papa Mike and before turn out to be good. I still have one more to get from there. But it different strokes for different folks. The only thing I can tell you is to go around vist each tattoo shop. Just everything out and see which one you will feel comfortable with and go from there.
